Adorneya is now *officially* August Lately, LLC!
I'm keeping the blog here to avoid any feed problems.
Eeverything went more smoothly than I could have ever hoped, many, many thanks to my hosting guys at colorteck and Arianne at Aeolidia. Oh how I love her!
Due to some press coming out on the 30th, we're making the big switch to August Lately a bit sooner than expected. Both sites will be down for a while as we get things moved. Updates will be posted here.
Yes, I'm easily amused. Today I was catching up at the lovely Carrie's blog and saw the coolest thing: Little screenshots would pop up whenever I put my cursor over a link. Turns out it's a nifty little widget for TypePad powered by snap. I thought it was so neat, I decided to do it here as well. Go ahead, try it! Neat huh?

I know, this blog has been quiet. With good reason though! I've been busy!
It appears that my customers haven't realized that they missed the Christmas deadline, either that or they're *really* on the ball for Valentine's Day!
I'm also working on a shipment of bags for a store across the state. Sick kids (again!) have slowed the progress but I'm getting there. I'm really having a blast working with springy, happy fabric.
I've got a spring preview up on the site now, so go check it out! I've been working on shoulder bags, but plan on making some new and improved messenger bags after I finish this shipment for the store.

I also *hope* to get to the wallets and checkbook covers for spring. I have the design all worked out- it's just a matter of finding time to sew some up.
Update on the site change- Official name change to August Lately is due to happen on January 30th. Cross yoru fingers for me that it goes off smoothly!
