October, and therefore breast cancer awareness month, is just a few days away. Although this blog has focused mostly on my sewing endeavors (mostly since *I* have been more focused on sewing since I started this blog), I wanted to remind you all that I started out as a jewelry designer, and I have a collection of awareness earrings, bracelets and necklaces that I call Jewels of Hope.
A lot of the awareness jewelry I've seen looks very much the same, so when I designed this collection I set out to make things that I hadn't seen everywhere else. I even have a leather awareness bracelet! So if there's someone out there that you want to support, check out the awareness jewelry at Adorneya. It's available for virtually any cause that has a designated color, and I even have special charms just for autism awareness. It's the ultimate thoughtful gift and I donate 10% of the price to the cause the jewelry represents.
In other news, I wanted to send a shout out to Jen at Indie Fixx! She contacted me about featuring my scarflettes a while back and put up a really nice little write up this morning. Thanks Jen!
